Livramento has been named in Cape Verde's World Cup squad and is expected to be the undisputed first-choice striker and the primary attacking reference for manager Bubista throughout the competition.

The 24-year-old's intelligent movement, physical presence and clinical finishing make him the focal point of Cape Verde's entire attacking system, and his ability to hold the ball up and bring teammates into play gives Bubista a complete and dangerous option through the middle. Livramento heads into the World Cup as the most anticipated offensive player in the squad and the man on whom Cape Verde's hopes of causing a major shock in Group H will largely rest.
