Tabakovic (ankle) will be absent from Bosnia Herzegovina's World Cup opener against Canada, with coach Sergej Barbarez confirming that "it's too early and that in the best case he'll play in the second game.", reprezentacija.ba reports.

Analysis: Tabakovic has yet to fully overcome his ankle problem and is unlikely to play a meaningful role in the group stage.
